Richard Whitaker

Co-Owner

 

Richard Whitaker founded Fresh Coat Painters of Clarksville in 2014 and is committed to providing homeowners and businesses with professional painting services built on quality, integrity, and dependable service. A retired U.S. Army officer, Richard brings decades of leadership, organizational, and community experience to the company.
For Richard, Fresh Coat has always been about more than painting; it’s about serving people well, building lasting relationships, and creating a business that customers and employees can trust. As a longtime Clarksville business owner and community leader, he is proud of the reputation Fresh Coat has built through more than a decade of serving the Clarksville area.

Sean Cardell

Co-Owner

Sean Cardell is a U.S. Army veteran, entrepreneur, and community-minded business leader serving the Clarksville area. As an owner and operator of Fresh Coat Painters, Sean brings years of military leadership, construction experience, and a commitment to providing quality service to local families and businesses. He holds an AAS in Construction obtained from Hopkinsville Community College.
Outside of work, Sean is passionate about giving back to the community, particularly through youth softball coaching. What started as volunteering for his daughter Daisy's Little League team turned into a passion for youth sports. In 2026, Fresh Coat was able to award a $ 1,000.00 scholarship to a member of the Kirkwood High School softball team. He believes in helping young athletes develop not only their skills on the field, but also the confidence, discipline, and character they need to succeed in life. He is involved with Pennyrile Habitat for Humanity and Enjoys Fishing and going to baseball games with His Daughter.
Sean is proud to call the Clarksville community home. For Sean, success isn't just about building a successful business—it's about building relationships, investing in people, and making a positive difference in the community he serves.

Administrative Manager

As Administrative Manager at Fresh Coat Painters of Clarksville, helping keep things organized and running smoothly behind the scenes. As a military spouse for over 20 years, she has a special appreciation for community, connection, and supporting the people around her. She enjoys being involved locally and loves finding ways to support other families and businesses. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, spending time with her family, and making the most of every adventure that comes their way.
