Meet The Owner: Troy Page
Hello, my name is Troy Page. My wife Niki and I are the owners of Fresh Coat Painters of State College. A little about me, I grew up in Central Oregon in the town of Bend. After graduating high school, I left home to join the United States Air Force where I met my beautiful wife. Niki and I each served for nearly 5 years before making the decision to raise our family in the private sector. In 2000 we chose to settle here in Central Pennsylvania because of its great opportunities and it is where Niki grew up. We now have two adult children, who enjoy spending time in the outdoors and experiencing as much of Pennsylvania’s beauty as we can. We love this community because it has been a great place to raise our family and has had so much to offer for our quality of life. We love living here and it is our commitment to serving our community.
Shortly after settling in PA, I had the opportunity to enter the construction trades through an apprenticeship program. Upon successful completion of the five-year program, I was awarded the status of Journeyman. During my time in the trades, I learned what true craftsmanship and quality mean. I worked for more than eight years in the highly regulated nuclear power industry where I was blessed with the opportunity to earn my Project Management Certificate from Penn State Great Valley and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2020 I decided to peruse my lifelong desire to own and operate my own business. We took on the challenge and decided to bring Fresh Coat to our community where I could utilize my skills and experience to develop a business that is committed to serving our community. We recognized the opportunity to help people feel good about having work done in their homes again. We have heard stories about how contractors didn’t show up, damaged something in the home, and
in general over-charged and under-delivered.
